Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Distribution Supervisor. The Distribution Supervisor maintains efficient operations of and leads all Distribution Aides, Operating Room (OR) Core Techs and/or Supply Specialist in the performance of their duties. This includes leading in planning operations, directing work and priorities, counseling, and maintaining and improving the skill, efficiency, competencies, and the ability of the staff. The Distribution Supervisor is also responsible for maintaining the Distribution and/or Surgery inventory locations and PARs, as well as leading process improvement initiatives and projects in their area of responsibility.

The Supervisor will collaborate closely with leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions to ensure standardization and quality control while providing leadership and accountability to organizational performance metrics and compliance of regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations for roughly ~10 direct reportsthat include Distribution Aides, Operating Room (OR) Core Techs and/or Supply Specialist

  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for consistent and compliant registration practices.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery

  • Train, schedule, and support staff to ensure a productive and positive work environment

What's Available:

  • Full-time, salaried position

  • Location: Primarily La Crosse with travel to Onalaska, Tomah and Winona (travel to other Critical Access Hospitals will be required in the future)

  • Schedule: Hours typically between Monday-Friday days with willingness to work outside standard hours as business needs permit

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalency.

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience using a MMIS system for inventory control par location management, setting up cycle counts and year-end inventory, establishing optimum re-order points and utilization of barcode technology.

  • Leadership & Team Management:Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

  • Collaboration:Works well with cross-functional teams and fosters a cooperative work culture.

  • Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills
