Carrier is looking for a Regional Distribution Business Manager to cover our Central Midwest Region.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Own ductless revenue growth and marketshare performance across the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Analyze sales results, market conditions, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop and manage joint growth plans with distribution partners to expand customer reach and contractor adoption
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors, contractors, and channel partners
  • Build longterm relationships that influence specification, quoting, and project outcomes
  • Train distributor and contractor sales teams on ductless products, applications, and programs
  • Provide support for complex sales discussions and project opportunities
  • Drive customer satisfaction by helping resolve sales, service, and productrelated issues efficiently
  • Lead bid opportunities and contribute to proposal development and negotiations
  • Gather competitive pricing and product intelligence to support effective positioning
  • Identify product gaps and collaborate with Product Management to recommend improvements
  • Work effectively in a matrixed, crossfunctional environment to align strategy and execution
  • Contribute ductless expertise across sales, marketing, and channel management teams
  • Operate independently with minimal direction while consistently delivering results

Role Purpose:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of sales and/or operations management experience
  • 2+ years of HVAC industry sales experience
  • 2+ years selling to or working directly with distributors
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory/Remote

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong experience in ductless or HVAC product sales within a distribution-driven channel model
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing joint business plans with distributors
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing revenue targets, pricing strategy, and margin performance

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
