Distribution Supervisor

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.

Corona, CA, United States | req32614 Work Schedule: 1st Shift

What You Will Enjoy Doing

In this role you will provide leadership and direction for day-to-day distribution operations to ensure customer demand is met consistently and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining supply reliability for customers and locations, ensuring all medical gas deliveries comply with FDA standards and Linde's quality assurance system. Schedule delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals, customer expectation and operational standard. Train the Distribution Team in all aspects of Linde Safety and Quality systems and requirements. You will monitor distribution efficiencies and staffing levels to ensure customer demands are consistently met. You will lead safety initiatives, including administering safety training, conducting evaluations, and overseeing accident investigations. Control costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the most cost-efficient method of shipment. Drive productivity to maximize distribution capabilities and operational efficiency, while providing job training that fosters career development and growth.

What Makes You Great

You must have a high school diploma; a college degree is strongly preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience, along with at least 2+ years in Distribution, Logistics, or Transportation. You will have strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations. You are knowledgeable of regulatory agency requirements including FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA. Experience working in a Union environment is a plus. Demonstrated reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You have are self motivated with the proven ability to work independently and while maintaining a high level of accountability.
