About the Role:

Logistics Manager supports the advancement of Tigre USA ’s supply chain strategy by identifying areas for improvement and taking actions required to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the logistics department. He/she also supports the efforts of the logistics teams through leadership, guidance, proactive planning and savvy decision-making. He/she works effectively with Tigre USA’s teams (sales, operations, finance, accounting, human resources, etc.), with suppliers and its customers to deliver high level service to Tigre’s customers. He/she develops and manages members of the logistics team in a manner that increases their capabilities and performance. The logistics manager is responsible for the following departments: Customer Service, Order Management, Production Planning, Inbound and Outbound Freight Scheduling, Shipping, Receiving, and inventory replenishment. The logistics manager also serves as a liaison between the corporate logistics team and Tigre USA’s logistics team


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management within a manufacturing or durable goods environment.
  • Proven expertise in warehouse management, inventory control, and international shipping processes.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations and reverse logistics best practices.
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and supply chain software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP).
  • Experience managing logistics operations in a multi-site or global manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to international shipping and customs.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all logistics operations and support across all distribution channels
  • Responsible for different activities such as Customer Service, Order Management, Production Planning, Warehouse and Inventory control, Receiving, Replenishment, Shipping, Freight Scheduling, and Continuous Improvement
  • Drives the design, development, implementation and management of logistics solutions for Customers
  • Responsible for the strategic and operational planning of Customer logistics operations
  • Ascertain industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to differentiate Customer from the marketplace and drive customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for internal communications and presentations related to key performance metrics, program updates and on-going program information
  • Works in conjunction with various teams such as business development, field support and customer service to handle areas to of developments and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Prepares and recommends budget for the logistics department. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary
  • Serves as liaison with all internal and external partners for daily operational activities
  • Maintains operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and availability of materials
  • Coordinates timing of order entry and delivery of purchased items "
  • Monitors overall inventories of facility and provides corrective measures to these that exceed desired levels
