Job description

Warehouse Distribution Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Distribution Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations at our Rockwood facility. This role is responsible for overseeing receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and warehouse personnel while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience in distribution or logistics environments and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, inventory movement, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members while managing schedules and workflow.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance through KPIs focused on safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and quality requirements.
  • Manage distribution costs, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to oversee inventory, orders, and distribution workflows.
  • Partner with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience leading warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations teams.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, material flow, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Proven leadership, employee development, and team management skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and warehouse management processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and quality standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
