Role Purpose

The Distribution Financial Analyst II will be a key role to support the Distribution Controller for COC.  The Financial Analyst II role is central to managing the complexities of the distribution space for COC, and contributing directly to our profitability.  Our distribution customers represent significant revenue and margin, and serve as critical strategic partners spanning all COC business units and end markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate month end closing activities for the COC division pertaining to rebates and ship/debits, along with any other distributor promotional activities.  Manage accounting entries and related internal controls.
  • Assist to lead a sustainable process for ship/debit deductions from an execution, tracking and forecasting standpoint.
  • Manage and create a process to validate and audit ship/debits and a successful way to mitigate discrepancies.
  • Support rebate tracking and analysis and process rebate payments and other promotional credits.
  • Gain understanding of the distribution process from quote to order to ship and debit to maximize process efficiencies and minimize financial loss. 
  • Drive Division finance process improvement.
  • Embrace Digital and AI-related solutions.
  • Provides ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Take an active role in a Finance-related KSI’s to support goals and objectives.
Experiences/Education - Required
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or similar
  • Experience working on cross functional teams to solve complex business problems.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of financial and management accounting, including systems, compliance and reporting requirements. 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, paired with a curious mindset to explore underlying drivers and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • High-Energy with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities across customers, projects, and stakeholders while maintaining a high level of service and accuracy.
  • Innovative mindset — a digital- and data-focused finance leader who drives continuous improvement through automation, system enhancements, and adoption of new tools to strengthen close, reporting, and controls.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, effective in one-on-one, cross-functional, and executive settings.
  • Proficiency with core finance and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Khalix/Longview, PBI, Power Query, Databricks.
Experiences/Education - Desired
  • Performance Excellence experience (Six Sigma, lean processes).
  • Experience with Distribution customers.

The range for this position is $67,342.00 - $92,595.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
