Lead the Accounting Function for a Growing Organization

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the accounting function and provide strategic financial leadership. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys partnering with leadership, improving processes, and driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
  • Manage the accounting team, including AP, AR, payroll, and daily accounting operations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, maintain strong internal controls, and coordinate annual audits.
  • Partner with leadership to improve processes and support strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
