Jupiter seeks to grow its team with the recruitment of anAnalyst,RegulatoryCompliance.Position may be filled at Associate or Sr. Associate levels. See specific qualifications below.

This role will be based out of Jupiter'sAustin, TX or Houston, TXoffices.Candidates must be able to work out of a Jupiter Poweroffice fora minimum of three days per week.

Responsibilities

NERCO&P andCIP Compliance

  • Collaborate with SMEs across Cybersecurity, OT/SCADA, IT Networking, Physical Security, Operations, and Change Management tovalidatecompliance evidence.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of NERCO&P andCIP Standards (CIP002 through CIP013) to assess impacts on company assets, processes, and evidence requirements.
  • SupportNERCCIP(and O&P, asneed)Evidence Management, ensuring documentation is complete,accurate, and aligned with NERC audit expectations.
  • Coordinate andparticipatein CIP(and O&P, asneeded)audits, spot checks, and internal controls assessments, including managing RSAW preparation and subject matter expert interviews.
  • Monitor andvalidateimplementation ofcontrolsand ensure documentationremainsaudit-ready.
  • Supportregulatorygovernance activities, including policy updates, procedure maintenance, and annual reviews.
  • Perform internal CIP(and O&P, asneeded)compliance monitoring, including control testing, sample testing, and identification of gaps or processdeficiencies.

State, Local, and Federal Compliance

  • Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of routine and ad hoccompliance deliverables (e.g., RFIs, reports, filings, and records)forvariousagencies including, but not limited to, ISO/RTOs, PUCs, FERC, and other applicable local, state, and federal authorities.
  • Maintain complianceevidencerepository, documentation and records, including shared folders,inboxes,filing calendars, tracking tools, and internal resources.
  • Provide project management support to ensure regulatory initiatives and obligations are executed accurately and on schedule.Support research, planning, and preparation of new projectcompliancereadiness efforts.
  • Support internal groups (O&M, Engineering, Asset Management, Remote Operations Center, and Market Operations) in understanding compliance obligations and associated deliverables by developing and implementing tools and training.
  • Provide support forreal-timeoperational compliance monitoring activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience (Associate)

  • AnAssociate'sdegree, orbachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or Project Management isrequired, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in the energy industry. Equivalent years of relevant experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
  • Working experience with NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP)required.
  • Experience with utility-scale battery storage or other invert-based energy projects preferred.
  • Experience interpreting regulatory standards,participatinginimplementation efforts, and applying security principles to real-world operational environments.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint or other document managementtool(s)required.
  • Working knowledge of project managementtool(s)a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Internal Controls Program Development a plus.
  • Knowledge of organized wholesale electricity markets protocols and practices (e.g., ERCOT, CAISO, PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, SPP, etc.)required.
