Job description

Job Description:
  • The Feeder Dispatch Admin with driving works in a fast-paced office environment responding to inbound & outbound feeder drivers via phone with great attention to detail. Working outside in all types of weather, requires opening and closing of heavy trailer doors to verify status of trailers.
  • Will be required to drive a company provided vehicle.
  • Half of this position is walking outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • Responsible for checking and opening trailers.
  • The other half is working in an office assisting drivers via phone. Should dress appropriately for the weather, can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Escorting non SIDA3 Drivers on and off property.
  • Perform a Trailer Walk-off. This person is responsible for the safety of the walkoff person. Help assist in the safety of the walk off personal.
     
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be able to physically open & close heavy trailer doors.
  • Ability to use computers & multi-task without error.
  • Good verbal communication skills and able to read lots of numbers correctly.
  • Valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle.
  • Able to deal with stressful situations with a positive attitude.
 
 
Additional Details:
  • Will be working on the computer and in a warehouse/office environment.
  • Will be in the elements walking and driving around feeders and dealing with drivers
