We are seeking a Dispatch Assistant to join our office at a busy construction company in Loomis, CA!

  • Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am to 4pm

  • Pay: $23-$25/DOE

GENERAL PURPOSE: The basic function of the Dispatch Coordinator is to coordinate all scheduling activities for the company. Assumes responsibility for scheduling all jobs and assignment of properly skilled technicians to all projects using company approved computer scheduling system. Ensure timely distribution of next daysโ€™ work to scheduling assistant to properly and time relay information out to PMโ€™s and technicians on a daily basis.


REPORTING: The Dispatch Assistant reports directly to the Dispatch Coordinator and is fully accountable to the Project Director. At present the Dispatch Assistant has no direct reports.


JOB REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete all areas outlined for this position in a satisfactory manner. Listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent

โ€ข Minimum two yearsโ€™ experience with a construction company.

โ€ข Customer Service with construction company or property management company a plus


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

โ€ข General knowledge of the construction industry

โ€ข Excellent written and oral communication skills

โ€ข Strong attention to detail and process-oriented

โ€ข Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities

โ€ข Sense of urgency in all tasks assigned and highly organized

โ€ข Experienced in handling sensitive and maintaining confidential information

โ€ข Able to work well independently and contribute effectively on team-based projects
