About the Role and Team

The Retail Strategy Integration Manager will own a selection of franchises and drive the related support positioning for the Parks vertical merchandising organization - while aligning with broader Disney Consumer Products (DCP) and The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) priorities. This role identifies franchise-specific short & long term goals, bringing to life planning and management strategies, park activations, and cross-category strategic direction for the Parks Product Development & Retail (PPDR) organization. This role sits in Anaheim, CA and reports to the Sr Manager, Merchandise Strategy.

What You Will Do:
  • Establish the retail strategic positioning for a selection of franchises through a Parks-centric lens
  • Assess franchise health, including competitive position, category contribution, investment levels, and growth opportunities in partnership with a Strategic Planning team
  • Establish and maintain a franchise support pipeline and associated materials/tools to enable consistent, scalable execution
  • Serve as the in-house expert on the designated franchises, advising product teams with a brand-first perspective and serving as a trusted strategic sounding board
  • Aggregate tactics from PPDR to provide a complete view of franchise support
  • Serve as an integration point to the broader company while cultivating strategic relationships across TWDC and representing PPDR’s strategic positioning
  • Lead major new initiatives supporting key capital investments (i.e. new Parks experiences), ensuring strategic alignment, cross-functional coordination, and successful retail integration & execution
  • Assess retail support positioning for new content (film & experiences) and provide direction to the retail teams
  • Serve as the PPDR brand steward for managed franchises, ensuring business reviews, and presentations align with franchise strategy and requirements
  • Present strategic vision across key cross-functional milestones, including season kick-offs, alignment meetings, and final line presentations

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or related work experience 3-5+ years of experience in franchise strategy, merchandising, marketing, business development, or brand management.
  • Strong ability to collaborate, influence, and align stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate matrixed organizations, deliver solutions, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Exceptional presentation development and delivery skills, with expertise in visual storytelling and business-focused communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail reporting systems; ability to learn new tools to support presentations and business reporting.
  • Experience managing large entertainment franchises within an omni-channel retail environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume work while prioritizing effectively to deliver results.

The hiring range for this position based in Anaheim, CA is $115,500.00-$154,800.00.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
