Disney Ad Sales' Revenue Management division is seeking a Sales Planner to join our dynamic Planning team! Are you someone who displays a dedication to learn and grow in a high energy environment? We are looking for a strong communicator focused on building and maintaining impactful relationships, both internally and externally. For this role, we're looking for a highly detail oriented and organized individual who is excited to collaborate and work cross-functionally across our Sales and Operations teams. In this role you will support a dedicated book(s) of business, managing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry across assigned Disney brands (ESPN, FX, National Geographic, Freeform, Disney Kids, ABC) and business verticals.

Job Summary:

Partner internally with Sales and Revenue Management to implement packaging and pricing strategy, as defined by Revenue Management ratecards and guidelines. Manages daily maintenance of active deals and builds media plans for Upfront and Scatter deals. Maintain the pipeline in collaboration with your Sales team. Execute budget revisions including incremental spend, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellations. Provides account and planning subject matter expertise on advertisers' specific preferences. Collaborates with internal and external teams to accomplish client needs and meet/exceed internal goals. Analyzes campaign delivery and assigns make-good inventory. Partner closely with Account Management to execute campaigns, maximize delivery against

contracted goals, and address client reporting needs. Communicate effectively with agency contacts to address RFP deliverables and ad hoc requests. Manages priorities autonomously and effectively across multiple internal stakeholders and books of business.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • PROPOSAL & DEAL MANAGEMENT - In designated DAS systems, support a dedicated book(s) of business, managing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry all the way through liability satisfaction and deal closure.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE/ EXTERNAL PARTNERS - As one of multiple key contacts for external clients, provide customer service across the life of the deal. Partner closely with both the AM and Ad Ops teams to ensure clean campaign execution. Update agency partners on delivery against contracted goals, the need for unit changes v "as booked" and address any client reporting needs.
  • DEAL FUFILLMENT/ INTERNAL COLLABORATOR - Applying business direction from internal constituents, especially RYM, in response to the RFP "ask" across assigned Disney brands and business verticals, collaborate with internal departments from Research to Solutions to Traffic and Finance to ensure deal preferred handling/satisfaction. Identify means by which to both best satisfy agency needs and maximize opportunity for DAS.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • 2+ years of professional experience; media sales planning and / or buying experience strongly preferred
  • An excitement to work in a collaborative Ad Sales team environment
  • A positive demeanor and approach when handling day-to-day tasks
  • An ability to effectively problem-solve and multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail and robust organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Embodies an eager-to-learn attitude with a drive to take on new responsibilities
  • Experience working across Microsoft Suite, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Proficiency in media math and terminology is advantageous
  • Familiarity with sales systems

This role requires employees to be onsite four days a week, currently out of our Santa Monica, CA location, with a planned office move to our Burbank, CA location in 2026.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $68,400 to $91,700 and Santa Monica/Burbank is $63,500- $87,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
