Dish Technician - Mesero

Position Summary:
As a Dish Technician at Mesero, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Playing a role prepping items to assist the chef and prep team. Working closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, playing a key role in maintaining the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to Mesero's cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dish area, ensuring it is fully stocked with cleaning supplies.
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste, following all sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Assist kitchen staff by providing clean kitchen equipment and ensuring all items are returned to the appropriate stations.
  • Help with cleaning kitchen floors, countertops, and food preparation areas as needed.
  • Ensure that all health and safety standards are met, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues with kitchen equipment to management.
  • Assist with setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up kitchen stations before and after shifts.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Up to date certifications required by state regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
