Job description

Dish Installation TechnicianOverview

Do you have experience in satellite, cable, telecommunications, low-voltage, or home technology installations? We're looking for motivated, customer-focused technicians to perform residential TV and internet installations, upgrades, and service calls.

As a Satellite Installation Technician, you will install, service, troubleshoot, and upgrade residential satellite TV and internet systems while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities
  • Review work orders and plan efficient installations
  • Install, activate, and program satellite TV and internet equipment
  • Mount equipment and run low-voltage wiring using hand and power tools
  • Perform system testing to ensure proper functionality and optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and upgrade equipment as needed
  • Educate customers on equipment operation and service features
  • Maintain professional and courteous customer interactions
  • Follow all safety procedures while working on ladders, rooftops, attics, crawl spaces, and other residential environments
  • Complete installations neatly, accurately, and according to company standards
Essential Skills
  • Experience with satellite, cable, telecommunications, low-voltage, security, or home technology installations

Work Environment

Work is performed in person at customer homes and on their properties. You will spend significant time outdoors, including working on roofs to install and align satellite dishes, as well as indoors hooking up TVs and internet equipment. The role involves accessing attics, basements, and crawl spaces to run wiring and position equipment, often in confined or elevated spaces. You use power tools, hand tools, ladders, and low-voltage electrical equipment on a daily basis. The schedule is full time and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs. Attire should be practical and appropriate for residential field work, allowing you to move safely and comfortably in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $78000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
