Job description

Job Title: Reconciliation Clerk
Location: Dayton
Type: Contract to Hire
Compensation: $18.50 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
The Reconciliation Clerk is a key player in the production workflow, responsible for managing the return of products from production lines. This role ensures that all returned items are processed efficiently and accurately, helping to maintain inventory integrity and perform client consumption.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the general physical activities of the warehouse to move returns; this will involve some heavy manual lifting
  • Operate a forklift to transport and organize returned materials throughout the warehouse
  • Assist in the general administration of the warehouse and use the computer system for returns processing, goods in/out, documentation, asset tagging, barcode label production, stock management, and discrepancy resolution
  • Report any discrepancies to the Dock Coordinator and work in liaison with the production team to ensure accurate reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy levels
  • Conduct internal reviews to assess material usage before restocking inventory after production
  • Confirm that adjustments were properly made by the client and issue the final consumption
  • Direct and cross-functional interaction with other warehouse personnel and departments
  • Assist with production during slower periods

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; related warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience is required; forklift certification is preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong communication and English skills required
  • Ideal candidates will exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment
