Job description

Job Summary:

The Clerk II will provide clerical support which includes but is not limited to the following duties: maintain patient records and files while processing documents in EMR, process Release of Information requests and provide information for ROI concerns, maintains open communication with providers and obtains outside medical records, lab results and other documentation at the time of patient visits as requested by providers, rotates responsibilities clearing, scanning and distributing incoming faxes and mail, provides back up coverage for other medical record staff as needed. Additionally the Clerk II will send out pertinent medical records as requested by appropriate outside providers, work with other medical record staff to maintain records pool requests and inquiries as well as maintaining personal

EPIC inbasket, help with front desk check in and check out, and scheduling appointments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of secretarial/clerical experience required. Ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ambulatory care services and experience with Medical Data Base systems (Epic and CAIS) for patient registration and scheduling preferred.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
