Department Information

The Office of Graduate Education is seeking an Enrollment Services Specialist II to support graduate admissions and enrollment services. As a critical member of Georgia Tech's graduate enrollment management team, this role helps recruit and enroll a highly qualified and diverse applicant pool across the Institute's colleges and campuses. Supporting the review and processing of more than 40,000 graduate applications annually, the successful candidate will maintain admissions records, review academic credentials and supporting documentation, assist applicants and graduate programs, and collaborate with campus partners to ensure accurate, efficient, and policy-compliant admissions operations. You will join a collaborative team of more than 20 admissions professionals dedicated to helping prospective students successfully navigate the admissions process and begin their graduate studies at Georgia Tech.

Job Summary

This position executes technical validation, verification, and compliance auditing of domestic and international academic credentials with the graduate enrollment pipeline. Administers data workflows across admissions CRM and Student Information Systems, reconciles applicant and student records., and maps global education frameworks to institutional equivalency standards. Serves as a functional liaison to campus partners on admissions policies and procedures, resolves workflows bottlenecks, and supports data-driven recruitment and yield initiatives.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Update and maintain admissions records in admissions and enrollment management software, ensuring accurate applicant data, processing required documents, and running reports and queries to support decision-making and daily operations.
Job Duty 2 -
Participate in key recruitment and yield initiatives, representing the Institute and providing high-quality support to prospects, applicants, students, and campus stakeholders to advance strategic enrollment goals.
Job Duty 3 -
Manage multi-channel communications (phone, email, ticketing system), executing resolution protocols for inquiries from prospects, applicants, students, and graduate programs, and campus departments to ensure operational accuracy and service standards.
Job Duty 4 -
Deliver technical guidance regarding applicant completion criteria, document submission workflows for enrollment, and the interpretation of intuitional admissions requirements.
Job Duty 5 -
Coordinate with admissions managers and technical staff on system issues and process improvements.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience
Two to three years of job-related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Competency in domestic and international academic credential evaluation and transcript authentication.
Knowledge of enrollment management frameworks, lifecycle workflows, and yield optimization strategies.
Ability to rapidly cross-train and deploy emerging institutional software and specialized technical tools.
Advanced technical communication skills for multi-stakeholder cross-functional coordination.
Service delivery metrics management within an academic operations infrastructure.
Preferred proficiency in higher education enterprise systems (e.g., Slate CRM, Banner SIS) and document imaging platforms.
SKILLS
This job requires basic skills in data entry and verification, customer service, and communications as applied within a university admissions office. Skills in use of office related and specialized computer applications is required.
Preferred qualifications include: experience with admissions and enrollment management software (ie Slate), admissions, and transcript/credential evaluation experience.
