The Program Manager will work within a highly collaborative team setting and be responsible for leading and supporting the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity programs as part of the corporate Enterprise Risk Management Team. The selected individual will illustrate strong strategic, process, project, accountability, collaboration, results delivery, and detail-oriented skillsets. It is necessary to have strong knowledge of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Program Management.
This is a Full Time, hybrid, Program Manager, Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery role located in Brentwood, TN.
What You'll Do
  • Responsible for developing the corporate Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) program, to include short and long-term objectives.
  • Manage internally and externally the software solutions for DR and BC programs and keep them up to date.
  • Develop recommendations and approaches for strategic and operational improvements.
  • Drive appropriate organizational change management approach to ensure buy-in and program success.
  • Leading infrastructure and application Disaster Recovery plan development to include Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and maintenance.
  • Perform annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) review and update Business Continuity (BC) plans as appropriate.
  • Work with designated department representatives to create BC plans for new or reorganized departments.
  • Assist Clinical Operations with clinical site Emergency Response Plans for completeness as needed.
  • Assist Clinical Operations in building BC plans for each clinical site as appropriate.
  • Validating appropriate maintenance and support updates occur to the Business Continuity Management System in place to support the DR program.
  • Perform criticality analysis of all new systems, applications, and services to determine disaster recovery requirements and assist in the strategic planning to insure the requirements are achievable.
  • Provide significant contribution to the creation and maintenance of an enterprise Business Continuity plan.
  • Working closely with Business Continuity, as well as business and application teams to gather requirements that contribute to recovery capability and right-size solutions.
  • Understanding and contributing to RFPs, contractual reviews, supplier questionnaires, audit and compliance boards, and project charters.
  • Assisting in training development and facilitation.
  • Lead development of documenting and maintaining Disaster Recovery policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensure change requests are executed in accordance with established change management standards.
  • Ability to maximize productivity through leadership skills and attention to detail.
  • Strategically and tactfully determine resolutions to issues as they arise without direction. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Manages risks and mitigations accordingly.
  • Coordinate external vendors, personnel from cross-functional business and information technology verticals.
  • Interface professionally with all levels of management, the ability to work with multiple personality types to facilitate cooperation both within the company and with clients.
  • As a member of the Enterprise Risk Management Team, engage in non-Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity matters as needed.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree preferred OR a High School Diploma/GED/Associate's degree and equivalent work experience.
  • BC/DR Professional Certification preferred or willingness to obtain within one year of employment. (DRII, BCI, etc.)
  • 5 or more years' of related Disaster Recovery Program experience with Bachelor's degree OR at least 8 years of related Disaster Recovery Program with a High School Diploma/GED/Associate's degree.
  • 5 or more years' of related IT experience with Bachelor's degree OR at least 8 years of related IT with a High School Diploma/GED/Associate's degree.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Management platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge with project management scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with lean and agile principles.
  • Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL framework are considered a plus.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding technical and nontechnical communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability taking a concept from idea to completion.
  • Ability to lead DR and BC Exercises.
  • Ability to facilitate teams and bring others to consensus.
  • Able to work autonomously, be accountable, and take initiative.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Suite
