Job description

William A. Hazel, Inc., a total site development contractor for over 60 years, is looking for a Project Manager as one of the construction office jobs we are currently hiring for. The individual in this position will be responsible for the administration of all assigned contracts from execution to completion.
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate and supervise multiple residential, commercial or infrastructure site work projects.
  • Interface with all parties involved to oversee and ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Maintain project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Provide document control, plan analysis, project progress, resource scheduling, and fiscal reporting.
  • Provide project management team with guidance for contract and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, clients, vendors and field operations on value engineering, change management, schedule maintenance and project close out.
  • Selection of subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Reports to Construction Manager.

Requirements:
  • Excellent technical skills understanding and interpreting construction documents, specifications, contracts, and plans.
  • Great communication and client service skills.
  • Team collaboration skills.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify and overcome project challenges.
  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Business Management, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Project/Construction Management or Assistant Project/Construction Management or related field.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Strong focus on safety.
