Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager-related occupation.
  • Position requires 3 years of experience in the following:
    • Project planning using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, including developing project charters, roadmaps, and risk registers
    • Program execution and governance or project lifecycle management, including monitoring progress, risks, and mitigations
    • Stakeholder management or cross-functional team leadership across organizations
    • Driving organizational change management or change implementation using rollout plans and impact analysis
    • Developing and executing stakeholder communication plans for program goals, progress, and health

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000 - $189,000 15% bonus target equity benefits determined by role, level, and location. Position reports to the Google Atlanta, Georgia office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.
Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and design targeted communication plans to manage expectations and enable effective decision-making.
  • Author comprehensive program charters and create detailed project plans that define scope, timelines, resources, and dependencies for advanced programs.
  • Determine program phasing and key metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize resource stewardship throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Establish program governance by defining data collection methods, maintaining project trackers, and leading team meetings to drive progress.
  • Execute program tasks by proactively managing dependencies, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with core product values. Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans, including impact analysis and progress monitoring, to support program stakeholder needs.
