About Excel Prep:
Excel Prep is a specialized school dedicated to supporting students with developmental and learning disabilities through individualized education and evidence-based approaches. Our mission is to provide an inclusive, structured, and nurturing environment where students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Position Overview:
Excel Prep is seeking a compassionate and highly organizedCaseworkerto join our student support team. The Caseworker will play a vital role in coordinating services, supporting families, and helping students succeed by serving as a bridge between the school, families, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for student case management
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administration to support student success
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, needs, and resources
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student cases
  • Assist families in accessing outside services (therapy, evaluations, healthcare, etc.)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
  • Monitor and follow up on action items related to student services
  • Provide crisis management and support when needed

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in case management, social work, or a related field (school or nonprofit setting preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient, and driven to support students with diverse needs
  • Bachelors degree in a related field required; Masters degree in a related field is a plus(MSW preferred).
