Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Employment Specialist / Job Coach to assist adults with disabilities in securing and thriving in competitive, integrated employment. This role involves one-on-one coaching, job skill development, and collaboration with employers to ensure a supportive and successful work experience for our clients.
Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in preparing for employment, including resume building, interview practice, and workplace readiness skills
  • Support clients on the job to learn and perform their work tasks effectively
  • Provide coaching and feedback to help clients develop skills, confidence, and independence
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employers and community partners
  • Document client progress and follow individualized service plans
  • Provide transportation and accompany clients to interviews, job sites, or training as needed
  • Be flexible and adaptable to client schedules and needs
Requirements

  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to complete required training prior to providing services
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassion, patience, and respect for individuals with disabilities
