About the Team

This role sits on Rejuvenation's Creative team within the Ecommerce & Marketing organization, partnering closely across brand marketing, ecommerce, retail, merchandising, photo, and site operations to create elevated customer experiences that build brand affinity, drive engagement, and support business growth.
About the Role
The Director, Creative Design is responsible for defining and elevating the visual expression of the brand across all customer-facing channels. Reporting to the VP of Ecommerce & Marketing, this role leads creative strategy, brand standards, campaign storytelling and design across ecommerce, email marketing, paid media, organic social, retail marketing, print and other brand experiences.
This is a highly hands-on leadership role for an exceptional designer who can balance creative vision, art direction, team leadership, and individual design execution. The Director, Creative Design leads a team of managers and designers, establishes creative standards, develops talent, and ensures consistency across all customer touchpoints while partnering closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, and Photo Studio teams to deliver compelling brand experiences that drive business growth.
Responsibilities
  • Own the creative vision and visual expression of the Rejuvenation brand across all customer-facing channels, including ecommerce, email marketing, paid media, organic social, retail marketing, print, and brand campaigns.
  • Establish and evolve brand standards, creative guidelines, and design systems that ensure consistency and excellence across all customer touchpoints.
  • Lead the development of seasonal campaign concepts, visual storytelling frameworks, and creative strategies in partnership with Marketing and Ecommerce leadership.
  • Direct and personally execute high-priority creative work, including homepage concepts, campaign creative, landing pages, and other key brand experiences.
  • Lead and develop a team of creative managers and designers through coaching, mentorship, performance management, and career development.
  • Oversee creative prioritization, resource allocation, workflow management, and execution across multiple channels and initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Site Operations, Photo Studio and Retail teams to align creative strategies with business goals
  • Provide creative direction for photography and video needs, ensuring assets support campaign objectives and brand standards.
  • Influence customer experience through thoughtful design, storytelling, and digital presentation while supporting merchandising and marketing priorities.
  • Evaluate creative performance, customer engagement trends, and business results to inform future creative strategies and design decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve creative processes, operational efficiency, and team effectiveness.
  • Serve as the creative authority for the Rejuvenation brand, presenting concepts, influencing stakeholders, and driving alignment across leadership teams.

Required skills and qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in creative design, art direction, brand creative, or digital retail creative
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing creative managers and teams
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates excellence in brand storytelling, digital design, campaign development, and customer-facing creative experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience in ecommerce, retail, home furnishings, interiors, luxury, fashion, or premium lifestyle brands
  • Deep understanding of homepage design, onsite storytelling, digital merchandising, and customer shopping behavior
  • Experience developing retail marketing materials, signage, and customer-facing communications
  • Strong project management skills, including workflow planning, prioritization, timeline management, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern digital design tools
  • Exceptional visual taste, aesthetic judgment, and understanding of premium brand standards
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • This role requires being onsite in the Portland office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office
