DIRECTOR, NATIONAL SALES (HIGH SCHOOL MMR)
Los Angeles CA, Chicago IL, Atlanta GA

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Director - National Sales (High School MMR) is directly focused on developing multi-property partnerships across our portfolio United States and Canadian based high school MMR partners. This position will focus on client-direct sales efforts to secure multi-year sponsorships and will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across all of Playfly's business units.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• This position is directly responsible for generating new or incremental revenue, with points of contact at client direct or senior level contacts at agencies, articulating the Playfly Sports Properties value proposition
• Cultivates and manages relationships with brands and develops meaningful strategies to bring in new revenue; demonstrated history of using a consultative sales approach
• Partners, collaborates, ideates, prospects, strategizes, targets, and executes sales plans with other stakeholders within Playfly with the sole accountability of new, multi-property revenue generation for PSP
• Utilizes all available systems and reporting tools to ensure transparency and accountability to the Vice President - National Sales
• Other job-related duties as assigned
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Passion for high school athletics and community-centric partnerships
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development in a Sponsorship Sales capacity
• Proven track record of revenue generation as both a sole contributor and a member of broader sales team
• Experience in High School MMR, Team Sponsorship and Sports Arena Sales
• Comprehensive knowledge of the sports industry and sports sponsorship sales
• Strategic thinker with ability to develop relationships with high-level clientele is required
• Proven track record of innovative strategy development and ad revenue generation and/or support
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook,)
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Revenue Generation systems, is a plus
• Bachelor's degree required (preference in Sports Media, Communications, Marketing or related fields)
Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements
• Position is considered remote, but ideal candidate will reside within 60 miles of a major metro market/airport
• May require occasional travel
COMPENSATION
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The base pay range for this role is:
$110,000-$120,000 USD
