Our client, a premium outdoor lifestyle brand, is hiring an Assistant Store Director for their storefront in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Position Overview
The Assistant Store Director partners closely with the Store Director to lead all aspects of store performance, team development, and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the sales floor, builds authentic relationships, and takes pride in delivering an elevated, service-driven retail experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Brand Representation
  • Cultivate an environment of authentic customer connection through every interaction
  • Act as a brand ambassador with exceptional knowledge of the brand product line
  • Discover customer needs and deliver thoughtful, personalized solutions
  • Support all customer service needs including returns, exchanges, and issue resolution
Leadership & Team Development
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and training of retail associates
  • Lead by example on the floor, setting the standard for service, selling, and professionalism
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to drive individual and team performance
  • Step in to lead the store in the absence of the Store Director
Sales & Business Performance
  • Drive store sales through active selling, clienteling, and team leadership
