Job description

The Day-to-Day:
  • A dynamic leader who can manage strategically, but also understand the details enough to effectively guide the team
  • Coach, mentor and lead the organization's cost accounting team
  • Liaise with business Finance partners on annual and quarterly cost targets
  • Prepare budget versus actual analysis related to product costs and factory yields.
  • Analyze, understand and communicate costing variances to factory and business leasers
  • Assume a key leadership role in the transition of the Company's costing system to SAP, assuming an integral role in system design
  • Forecast product costs for all annual, quarterly, and monthly budget cycles.
  • Financial modeling to calculate impacts of potential business strategies.
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects, primarily related to understanding product costs, factory output, and the enhancement of financial performance.
  • Work with external auditors on periodic audit requests.

Monitor the Company's cycle count process and work with Operations on process improvement.
