Job description

Summary of Position:
As the Director for Relationship Development Sales. You will lead and inspire your sales team members to achieve and exceed revenue and unit targets, foster strong customer relationships with executive buyers, and drive strategic growth initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring executive alignment and customer satisfaction with your assigned team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
• Oversee the daily operations of the sales team, including territory management, account planning, and
sales forecasting.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs and take corrective actions to address any shortfalls both in
account coverage and regional coverage.
• Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, share best practices, and motivate the team.
• Ensure compliance with Granite's CRM requirements in salesforce.com
Relationship Development:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with executive contacts within our key customer base through in person and virtual meetings.
• Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and
retention.
• Negotiate and close high-value deals, leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs and industry trends.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate & foster effective relationships with internal departments, such as customer support,
engineering, and PMO to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and service delivery.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on sales
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a regional sales team and achieving sales targets.
  • Open to travel in this position monthly 35-50%
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
