We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Director of Operations


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other assigned departments
  • Ensure all departments meet or exceed brand standards, quality assurance guidelines, and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Drive a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular property walks to monitor cleanliness, safety and overall condition of the property.
  • Any additional duties designated by AGM or GM.


Guest & Service Excellence

  • Champion guest satisfaction initiatives and maintain high GSS/Medallia/Brand Survey performance.
  • Resolve complex guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Empower teams to anticipate needs and deliver personalized service.


Financial & Business Performance

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts across all operational departments.
  • Review labor productivity, scheduling, and departmental expenses to achieve financial targets.
  • Support revenue maximization strategies in collaboration with Sales, Revenue Management, and F&B leadership.


Team Development & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop department leaders and associates.
  • Lead daily/weekly operations meetings to ensure alignment and execution or properties.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture focused on engagement and retention.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support succession planning.


Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain a safe, secure environment by adhering to OSHA, local regulations and brand safety standards.
  • Ensure proper execution or emergency procedures and training.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs and property upkeep.


What are the requirements for this position?

  • You have previous hotel management experience with a proven success in leadership of teams and guest service results
  • You have prior experience with direct sales efforts producing at least 50% market mix of total revenues and overall strong financial knowledge
  • You have a least a high school diploma with a college degree preferred
  • You have a valid driver's license from the appropriate state
  • You have exceptional time management and multitasking skills
  • You have a customer focus and consistently strive to deliver optimal employee and customer satisfaction for the hotel
  • Flexible schedule required including weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.


Physical Requirements for this Position

You must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates.


Travel Requirements

This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel is outside the local area and overnight.
