Job description

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Imaging System Administration

  • Administer and support Fuji Synapse PACS, Fuji VNA, Laurel Bridge Compass, and Fuji Cardiology PACS
  • Manage DICOM routing, image archival lifecycle, prefetching, and multi-site worklists
  • Monitor system performance, storage utilization, routing operations, and uptime
  • Maintain imaging archive integrity and database accuracy

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Troubleshoot RIS, PACS, and imaging workflow issues
  • Support HL7, DICOM, ADT, RIS/PACS interfaces, and modality connectivity
  • Collaborate with Informatics, Interoperability, and Biomed teams
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions

Workflow & Integration

  • Support workflows across Radiology, Cardiology, Women’s Health, and Point-of-Care Ultrasound
  • Maintain integrations with Meditech RIS, Nuance PowerScribe, Penrad, VRad, Butterfly POCUS, and Epiphany ECG systems
  • Improve imaging workflows and documentation standards

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure HIPAA and imaging security compliance
  • Support encryption, secure transport, auditing, and lifecycle management
  • Develop workflow guides, downtime procedures, and routing documentation
  • Provide training to imaging staff and clinicians

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Radiology, or related field
  • ARRT Certification in one or more imaging modalities
  • Minimum 3 years of imaging systems/PACS experience
  • Minimum 1 year RIS support experience
  • Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • CT Certification (ARRT)
  • Certified PACS Administrator (CPAS) or CIIP Certification
  • Experience with PACS and dictation systems

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong radiology and cardiology workflow knowledge
  • Excellent troubleshooting and technical support skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
