Konami Gaming is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team!
This position is responsible for researching and closely managing the product lifecycle of Slot Games and Participation titles and closely coordinating among Research & Development (Engineering and Game Development), Sales, Marketing, Service and Compliance departments. This includes developing product plans to meet target markets and sales forecasts.
What you'll be doing:
Product Management: Ensure all products are released with all required material on time and on quality.
  • Product Release Planning - coordinate all domestic theme releases and ensure all departments are ready for product release.
  • Maintain game list in the marketing database.
  • Signage and progressive compatibility.
  • Coordinate with R&D, Compliance, Sales, and Service on all product release, compliance, and performance related issues.
  • Supervises domestic configuration checklists prior to publication to allow for order entry.
  • Serves as representative for ECs to Manufacturing - weekly meeting representative.
  • Product demos for key customers to support sales.
  • Oversees release of configuration checklists for the inputting of games orders.

Trade Shows/Showroom: Products in showroom are up to standard. Product selection, ordering, staging, etc. for tradeshows are done accurately and timely.
  • Manage all product selection, ordering, staging, approvals, and installations for trade shows.
  • Manage products in Showroom.

Product/Market Analysis: Data accuracy and quality.
  • Conducts market research and provides results for the product management department and R&D for use in making product development decisions (market needs).
  • Assists Management with market demand assessment (e.g., slant evaluation, oversized cabinets).
  • Market assessments including competitive product evaluations and pricing intel gathering.

Graphic Design/Technical Writing: Quality and timely results.
  • Draft game tutorial video scripts and storyboards for use by video production firm.

Special Projects: Quality and timely results.
  • Special projects and other duties assigned.

What we'll want you to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Hotel/Hospitality, Business, Engineering, Technical Arts or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience in gaming industry.
  • A minimum of five years of related experience.
  • Class 2 and HHR experience preferred.
  • Casino management experience desirable, product management, product marketing and/or slot floor understanding and technical certification preferred.
  • Experience in i-Gaming, VLT, or Amusement/Arcade products highly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s).
  • Intermediate and above-level understanding and usage of Microsoft Office products.

Additional Requirements:
  • Moderate travel necessary. 10-25%, or as business requires. Employee must be flexible to the travel needs of the business. Must possess a valid driver's license.

Work Environment:
  • Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in an area with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Must be able to work at assigned location to enable direct communications and interactions with team members, management, and others as necessary, unless traveling for a business-related purpose.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, paying attention to detail, and meeting assigned deadlines. Demonstrates high integrity, trust, and strict confidentiality. Ability to maintain excellent communication and a positive, respectful, and professional attitude and relationship with clients, employees, peers, co-workers, all levels of management, and all outside organizations conducting business or otherwise interacting with the company. Ability to always act autonomously while adhering to overall department and company policies and procedures.
  • Position shall work primarily in a smoke free office environment. The noise level is low to moderate. Position shall maintain a cubicle or office in close proximity to other cubicles and offices.
  • Position must attend monthly Field Research trips to casinos, tradeshows, or as needed. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality. Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
