Job Title: Director - Sales (U.S. Utilities & Broadband)
Location: United States (Remote with travel as required)
Reporting to: Chief Business Officer (CBO)
Role Type: Senior Individual Contributor | Revenue Leader
The Opportunity
The U.S. utilities and broadband sectors are undergoing rapid transformation, driven by FTTH rollouts, HFC modernization, public-funded broadband expansion, and national infrastructure upgrades. Operators, utilities, and engineering-led organizations are seeking specialized partners who can accelerate network design, deployment, and digital transformation.
We are a specialist broadband network design and engineering company supporting major U.S. utilities, MSOs, ISPs, EPCs, and construction partners. As part of our continued expansion, we are hiring a Director - Sales to lead new business acquisition and revenue growth across the U.S. Utilities and Broadband landscape.
This is a senior commercial role for a proven hunter with strong industry relationships, a deep understanding of broadband clients, and a track record of delivering multimillion-dollar sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership and Market Expansion
  • Own and deliver an annual revenue target aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles across Broadband, CATV, Telecom, Power, Water, and Gas sectors.
  • Build a high-quality pipeline with predictable forecasting and strong deal velocity.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities, new markets, and emerging growth areas in the utilities ecosystem.

2. Direct Client Engagement
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with decision-makers across MSOs, ISPs, utilities, and engineering-led organizations.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements focused on engineering, broadband design, GIS, and IT-driven solutions.
  • Deliver compelling proposals, presentations, SOWs, and commercial frameworks tailored to client needs.

3. Strategic Account Development
  • Penetrate large enterprise and utility accounts with multi-year growth potential.
  • Build executive alignment to support long-term sales strategies, account development, and expansion plays.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, delivery, and operations teams to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction.

4. Market Intelligence & Commercial Leadership
  • Track trends across broadband deployments, regulatory programs (including BEAD), and operator CAPEX cycles.
  • Monitor competitive activities and market dynamics to refine GTM strategy.
  • Represent the organization at key industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
What You Bring
  • 10-18+ years of sales or business development experience within engineering, IT services, telecom, utilities, or network infrastructure.
  • At least 6 years of direct experience selling into the U.S. broadband/telecom ecosystem (MSOs, ISPs, utilities, or construction/engineering firms).
  • A proven track record of delivering large enterprise or utility sales, including multimillion-dollar deals.
  • Strong relationships with senior decision-makers across engineering, construction, and network operations in the broadband domain.
  • Expertise selling services, engineering solutions, or technical delivery-not only hardware or transactional offerings.
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, and commercial strategy skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization (Citizenship, Green Card, or independent work visa).
  • Working knowledge of broadband network design, GIS, or utility platforms is an advantage.
Why Join
This role provides the opportunity to:
  • Operate in a high-impact, senior commercial position with direct influence on U.S. growth.
  • Work with a global engineering and IT organization delivering complex broadband and utility solutions.
  • Drive meaningful transformation across critical utility and broadband infrastructure.
  • Join a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where performance and ownership are recognized.
