The Command & Control (C2) Systems Product Line Program Manager (PLPM) will be responsible for coordinating product line management efforts across the entire C2 Systems program and investment portfolio. The candidate's responsibilities will span multiple Lockheed Martin teams across multiple business areas at separate geographical locations. Specific responsibilities include:
- Leading C2 systems portfolio program and product alignment processes.
- Working with other development and production PMs to collaborate on program development and production activities.
- Managing program startup and baseline activities for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) with all functional organizations, enabling execution success that is focused on cost, schedule, and performance management.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant industry experience.
- Experience managing complex, large-scale projects with multiple interdependencies.
- Strong understanding of program financial measurements including EVMS and knowledge of program management processes.
- Experience in Cost/Schedule Management and Performance Excellence.
- Demonstrated Business acumen.
- Demonstrated experience shaping, developing, estimating, delivering and negotiating proposals.
- Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 10+ years of relevant industry experience, including product line management.
- Cost/Control Account Management, Risk Manager, EVMS and Schedule Risk Assessment experience.
- Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers, users and employees at all levels and across multiple geographic locations.
- Return-To-Green experience on one or more programs
- Large scale development program experience
- Working knowledge of Defense acquisition process.
- Experience in growing programs through introduction of new product and services

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00
