F-35 New Capability Transition Program Manager - We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to serve as the F-35 New Capability Transition Program Manager reporting to the Senior Manager of the Configuration Readiness team within the Production Program Office.
The configuration readiness team has scope and focus areas defined as:
• Production Insertion and Fleet Release of New Capabilities
• Engineering for Correction of Deficiencies
• Change Integration
• Concurrency
• Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Management
The configuration readiness team operates in a dynamic environment and touches across the entire program life cycle from development with capability insertion to the production line and into sustainment. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic work environment where each day offers an opportunity to learn something new or handle a different aspect of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
The F-35 New Capability Transition Program Manager will be responsible for program management integration of end to end transition of air system capabilities from development through production insertion, fleet release and into sustainment. Those duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Transition Plan Development & Execution - Coordinate across F-35 program to design and maintain detailed transition roadmaps for Air System configuration changes across development, supply chain, production operations and sustainment.
• Risk & Opportunity Management - Develop and implement contingency (work around) plans to address technical gaps, schedule impacts, or supply chain disruptions. Track risk exposure and work with functional teams, supply chain, contracts and other program management teams to implement mitigation actions and work around plans.
• Acquisition & Delivery Support - Coordinate with other Program Managers and Contracts to ensure alignment of Air System Delivery contract requirements with Transition Roadmaps.
• Executive Leadership Coordination - Brief status of transition roadmaps to Tier 1 Executive leadership on a recurring tempo. Coordinate special topics that impact new configuration deliveries for Tier 1 review.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Program Management, Project Management, Project Engineering and/or Systems Engineering experience
• Experience communicating technical and business information effectively to large groups and executive stakeholders
• Experience creating detailed execution plans
• Active Secret Clearance.
Desired skills
• Experience with hardware design or development of technical roadmaps
• Experience in engineering change process
• Experience in Production Operations and processes
• Experience in Supply Chain Management
• Strong working relationships with functions across the program life cycle
• Earned Value Management experience as a CAM or Program Manager or Project Manager

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
