Job Summary and Qualifications
The role of the Rehab Director to effectively grow our hospital rehab unit by ensuring clinical excellence, operating efficiency and financial strength. This includes leadership in developing a strong rehab team and partnership with the Medical Director and staff to ensure the operational performance of the rehabilitation unit
What you will do in this role:

  • You will develop effective measures that raise community awareness of services offered by the program
  • You will oversee the adequacy and soundness of the unit's financial performance
  • You have the chance to motivate and lead a high performance team; attract, recruit and retain required members and provide mentoring as needed
  • You will ensure that all operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulation, Joint Commission standards, and the Hospital Compliance Plan
  • You will help Support the Hospital's Continuous Quality Improvement Plan
  • You will ensure the implementation of Hospital policies and patients' rights and responsibilities
  • You will establish and implement a safe working environment that meets all licensure, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
  • You will provide reports on the operations of the unit as defined in the strategic plan
  • You will perform other duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare management and/or rehab leadership position in a rehab program or rehab hospital preferred
  • Current state licensure in clinical field preferred
