Role Description

The Chick-fil-A Restaurant Director role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to embark on a comprehensive training program within our restaurants. Candidates will follow an accelerated path through our internal levels, where they will rotate through and learn all aspects of restaurant operations while working alongside our frontline team members. Following completion of the levels program, candidates will progress into Trainer and/or Team Leader roles with the ultimate goal of reaching the director or Executive director level. Throughout the program, candidates will receive guidance and support from a team of 3 executive directors and the local owner/operator who will assist in both personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities


  1. Participate in our Levels Training Program to gain hands-on experience in various areas of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
  2. Rotate through Trainer and/or Team Leader roles to develop a deep understanding of specific operational functions and leadership responsibilities.
  3. Collaborate with the restaurant leadership team to achieve operational excellence, uphold Chick-fil-A standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  4. Engage in ongoing professional development activities, both independently and with the guidance of the owner/operator, to enhance leadership and management skills.
  5. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the restaurant through active participation in team meetings, training sessions, and special projects.
  6. Embrace Chick-fil-A's core values and principles, demonstrating integrity, respect, and a commitment to excellence in all interactions.

Program Duration

The Chick-fil-A Restaurant Director program is a focused and accelerated learning experience designed as the launchpad for what is typically a 3-7 year journey to becoming an owner/operator. This intensive 24-month program prepares candidates for future roles such as executive director on the local level, owner/operators or participation in the Leadership Development Program (LDP).

Education

This role is intended for individuals who have completed a 4 year Business degree or are near completion.
