An Average Day:
(Includes, but not limited to)

You'll be the strategic and operational leader of procurement, responsible for:
Building & Scaling Procurement Strategy
  • Develop and execute a procurement business plan aligned with organizational goals
  • Establish long-term strategies that improve efficiency, standardization, and cost control
  • Design and implement a centralized procurement program across the organization
Vendor & Contract Management
  • Lead all vendor relationships - from selection to performance management
  • Own contract negotiation, ensuring favorable pricing, terms, and SLAs
  • Partner with legal to oversee contract development, tracking, and compliance
  • Drive accountability for vendor performance and value realization

Financial & Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Analyze organizational spend vs. contracted rates to identify cost savings and opportunities
  • Provide executive-level insights on vendor performance, spend trends, and contract status
  • Translate complex procurement and financial data into clear, actionable recommendations

Operational Excellence
  • Ensure field teams have access to the supplies and services they need - when they need them
  • Oversee procurement systems (including Coupa) and ensure adoption and optimization
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to streamline purchasing and payment workflows
  • Manage bids, proposals, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation

Process Improvement & Enablement
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Serve as the go-to expert for procurement guidance across departments
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, compliance, and value

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
  • Proven success building or scaling vendor programs and procurement processes
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
  • Experience analyzing spend data and identifying cost optimization opportunities
  • Ability to present insights and recommendations to executive leadership
  • A results-driven, metrics-focused mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to meet minimal travel obligations up to 10%
