Job description

The Account Manager is responsible for gaining a clear understanding of the existing client needs, develop and strengthen relationships while managing sourcing and production activities. Works closely with Account Executive and/or Director on account strategies to increase the Company's service offerings to generate more revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
  • Collaborates with Account Executive, Account Director and/or client to facilitate new sales opportunities while building client relationships. Identifies areas for service and process improvement.
  • Industry knowledge on a variety of diverse product type categories such as litho print, digital print, direct mail, POP/POS, Branded Merchandise, along with preferred vendor knowledge.
  • Collect accurate order specifications to obtain competitive quotes with little to no direction utilizing Smart Source preferred vendors.
  • Quotes, sources, oversees production, and manages inventory and eCommerce for customer's marketing collateral, operational print and promotional purchases.
  • Create presentations to promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Ability to work independently on orders/projects and discuss knowledge gaps as needed with Client, Account Executive and/or Account Director.
  • Accurately input all order specifications and relevant order data into internal procurement system (Demand Bridge) with the information provided.
  • Manage and track order status; contact vendors to obtain tracking information and follow up on delivery status as necessary. Match all vendor invoices to the order, including but not limited to PO#, cost, quantity and shipping address to ensure timely billing.
  • Provides superior customer service and works as a point of contact to ensure the customer's projects meet defined specifications and in-hands dates.
  • Accountable for ensuring compliance in Demand Bridge, eCommerce, Docuware and Resource Dashboard to maintain a clean WIP including collaborating with internal departments in a respectful and professional manner.
  • If applicable, inputs job detail data into required reporting fields to ensure client facing reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Where applicable, possess thorough knowledge on eCommerce and inventory processes and logistics.
  • Ensure Company profitability targets are being met while managing to Client/Company agreements and expectations.
  • If applicable, managing and balancing workloads among team members to ensure productivity and quality of work.

HIGH LEVEL COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ Years industry experience required.
  • Direct Client Support Experience, >$5MM in managed revenue
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly proficient with MS Office software, especially Excel

COMPENSATION
  • Salaried Position, with expectation of needing to work over 40+ hours per week depending on the current Company demands.
  • Not overtime eligible
  • Incentive eligible
