Job description

Rewarding Medical Director position in Wichita, KS.
Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer, the Medical Director ensures the delivery of high quality, integrated, patient-centered primary care and optometry.  Some component of direct patient care of 16-18 hours per week will be included in addition to administrative functions and leadership over Providers.
This is a rewarding opportunity with an established health program focused on serving the community.  Their multi-disciplinary team of dedicated Providers and staff offer a variety of medical, dental, behavioral, pharmacy and other community programs.  Providers enjoy no call, no weekends, no holidays.  
Guaranteed salary ($260K+) and generous benefits including medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance, 4% 401k retirement match, paid holidays and 30 days PTO.  Loan repayment options, paid licensure and dues and assistance with CME are also available.
Candidates must have/obtain active, unrestricted KS license, current DEA and BE/BC in primary care specialty.  At least 3 years of management experience is required.
