Position: Project Manager III

Location: Waynesboro, GA
Duration: 5 months

Client: Southern Nuclear

Job Summary

Southern Nuclear is seeking an experienced Project Manager III with 10–15 years of project management experience to lead complex engineering and capital projects. This senior-level role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment. Nuclear power plant experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

· Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and execution strategies.

· Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.

· Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to leadership.

· Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

· Ensure projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

· Mentor project teams and promote project management best practices.

· Drive continuous improvement and successful project delivery.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
