Our brand is known for its innovative approach to dining, commitment to quality, and a culture that champions growth, learning, and operational excellence.Burgermaster is seeking a Marketing Director to serve as a key member of both the marketing function and the leadership team. The Marketing Director will be reporting directly to the CSO, this role will lead the development and execution of the company's overall marketing strategy. The Marketing Director will collaborate closely with other leaders to ensure marketing initiatives align with Burgermaster's business objectives, brand vision, and growth goals. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and supporting the company's long-term success.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies across all channels, including social media, email marketing, SMS, B2B and in person events.
  • Build brand awareness, including positioning.
  • Direct and implement the organization's advertising and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, paid ad performance, consumer behavior, email & SMS marketing, SEO & SEM and monitor competitors to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Responsible for the management and oversight of the marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with outside agencies and vendors who support or may support our market strategies.
  • Analyze target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Identify new market segments that will benefit from a company location.
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.
  • Travel between locations for company events, material development, and other marketing activities.
  • Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
  • Forecast, draft, implement, and oversee the department's operating budget.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees and in accordance with company policy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required
  • 6+ years of marketing experience, long range planning preferred
  • 4+ plus years of direct management experience, including hiring and recruiting talent
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all touch points
  • Proficiency in current tech stack: Thanx or app-based software, Klaviyo, Shopify Plus, SEM Rush, Meta Suite, Figma and/or Google Analytics etc.
  • Ability to track and report on marketing KPIs and provide regular updates to the senior leadership team
  • Familiarity with Third Party Ordering systems
  • Experience developing and managing marketing budgets, ensuring that spending is in line with overall business objectives.
