Job description

We're looking for a Creative Director with GenAI expertise and a track record of developing concept-driven digital ads for performance marketing. In this role, you'll lead external agencies and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact creative that engages Meta's small and mid-size business audiences—and drives revenue.
Creative Director, Performance Marketing Responsibilities:
  • * Develops and leads creative concepts for ongoing digital marketing campaigns (on- and off- platform), ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand strategy
  • * Define creative strategies and vision for AI-generated ads across SMB DRM
  • * Works with AI and GenAI tools for creative ideation and production
  • * Leverages historical campaign performance and trends to inform future creative decisions
  • * Provides constructive guidance to external agencies and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality creative output across on- and off-platform deliverables such as digital ads, websites, sales enablement materials
  • * Leads regular creative reviews and presentations to internal stakeholders, including leadership
  • * Sets the creative inputs across creative testing plans to optimize creative
  • * Fosters trusting relationships with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication
  • * Designs and develops visual concepts, including typography, color palette, and imagery, to support campaign messaging and branding
  • * Creates design assets, such as graphics, icons, and illustrations, to enhance campaign visuals
  • * Stays up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and marketing and implements relevant insights on the work

Minimum Qualifications:
  • * 10+ years of experience as a Creative Director in digital advertising and direct response marketing or lead in a creative/design related occupation
  • * Experience with AI and generative AI tools used for creative ideation and production
  • * Skilled in developing brand creative strategy, encompassing direction, style and aesthetic guidelines
  • * Portfolio that demonstrates proven experience developing the creative strategy, ideation, refinement of conceptual campaigns that drive results - and showcases a mastery of creative direction, and an elevated style and aesthetic
  • * Proven track record of advanced presentation skills and experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, collaborators, at different levels
  • * Understanding of the business-to-business marketing landscape and Meta’s advertising tools
  • * Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with external agencies and cross-functional teams
  • * Proven experience successfully problem-solving and thinking strategically for advertising campaigns
  • * Experience driving fast-moving projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a broad range of stakeholders
  • * Software Proficiencies: Figma, Advanced GenAI tools and AI node-based workflow tools, Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • * 12+ years of work experience as a creative in advertising, marketing, editorial or lead in a creative-related occupation
  • * Bachelor's degree in Advertising Creative/Art Direction, or equivalent experience
