Job Description/Responsibilities

The Brand Director, BuzzBallz is responsible for the global expansion and growth for our next billion dollar brand – role includes global strategy, long term volume goals & achieving brand contribution targets. Directs development of brand plans, annual activation plans & NBD. Responsible for BCSP management and drives cross functional collaboration with Sales, Trade Marketing, BI, DCOE, Operations, Finance & Compliance. Retains & builds a team of top talent enhancing the Sazerac culture.

Priorities
  • PDS system design and implementation to include active PDS evaluation for each team member with regular feedback sessions between team member and manager, overall grid rating for each team member, 360 degree feedback program. Identify the #1 Skill to be developed by each team member.
  • Grow sales volume, manage and optimize cost of goods and overheads - while delivering highest quality products. Priority Brands will grow in volume and profit at a faster rate than the total business, and will comprise more than 65%. Strategic and annua
  • Design, implement a system of brand and state priorities - resulting in a brand / state priority matrix. Execute (work) on the priorities at a state / brand level
  • Strategic Brands have well documented strategic plans and annual plans and activities that support and achieve the long term goals.
  • Maintain a prioritized list of new initiatives and ensure projects are communicated and managed in order to achieve target ship dates and volumes.
  • Continuous communication and reinforcement of company culture. Team Member assessment of culture monitored on regular basis via Sazerac Culture Survey and limited use of Best Places to Work surveys. Tangible results in improvement of culture scores based on survey feedback.
Qualifications/RequirementsMUST
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years management experience
  • 5 years implementation or project management experience.
  • 5 years experience in a fast paced environment
  • 5 years P&L experience
  • 5 years brand management experience
  • 5 years experience managing an advertising agency
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
  • Record of successful leadership
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Budgeting, planning and/or financial analysis experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
PREFERRED
  • Mba
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing or communications
  • 3 years national accounts / key account experience (on and off premise)
  • 2 years pricing experience
  • 2 years supply chain experience
  • 3 years experience in new business development
  • 2 years experience leading the development and execution of commercial strategies

The annual salary range for this role is $170,498.51- $255,747. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
