Job description

Overview
The Master Data Administrator will manage the data and product life cycle by maintaining and updating new and existing model information across multiple systems, including SAP, Salesforce, and Anaplan. This person will work closely with key stakeholders to obtain and share accurate product and pricing information, and will serve as a subject matter resource on how data structures and field-level decisions affect downstream processes.
At Panasonic Connect, we connect the power of people and technology to change work, advance society and help connect to tomorrow. Empathy, results, relentlessness and teamwork are the foundations of the Panasonic Connect Culture. Our mission is to elevate the employee experience by empowering individuals to use their voice and have a positive impact on our business.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Solutions Sales and Product and Category Heads to create new SKUs, process change requests (e.g., pricing, hierarchy, vendor) on existing SKUs, and manage the product lifecycle across all SKUs
  • Ensure SKUs and data sharing meet compliance with company standards
  • Support projects designed to increase automation, reduce errors, and improve speed and efficiency within the SKU governance process
  • Assist with systems integration and migration projects, including data validation and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including publishing price lists for Panasonic product categories
  • Review, audit, and update product data across systems

  • Minimum of two years working in a data governance, data administration, or systems-adjacent function, or equivalent coursework or professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open tasks simultaneously with a strong instinct for follow-through and closure
  • Proven ability to self-audit work product, naturally building quality checks into processes without being directed to do so
  • Curiosity about how systems connect, with the ability to reason about the downstream impact of data decisions across business functions
  • Tool-agnostic problem-solving approach, demonstrating structured thinking when presented with ambiguous data challenges regardless of the tools available
  • Experience managing product, customer, vendor, and pricing data a plus
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple and changing priorities and projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, logic statements, and other advanced formulas
  • Strong working knowledge of data structures and system architecture a plus
  • Experience working with SAP and Salesforce.com a plus
  • Experience working in the technology sector a plus
  • Experience with SQL Server or Python a plus
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Two or more years of experience working with a CRM system, such as Salesforce.com

Problem Solving
  • Ability to assess the downstream consequences of data entry decisions across systems, including quoting, inventory, purchasing, shipping, billing, and reporting, understanding that a field-level change is rarely isolated
  • Ability to answer and redirect emails from various stakeholders in a timely and courteous manner
  • Ability to enforce process and SOX compliance with product and company data
  • Process-oriented mindset with a proactive focus on continuous improvement

Communications
  • Ability to work with factory planners in Japan and Taiwan to ask and answer questions on new products
