Responsibilities
This internship will start immediately and the intent is for the internship to convert into full time upon graduation.
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Sourcing Intern to join our team and contribute to a special global project focused on reviewing the IT landscape and supporting ongoing IT consolidation activities regionally and globally. As an intern, you will work closely within a matrix IT organization to evaluate internal team processes and tools with the Sourcing Team and, assess current technology solutions, conduct as-is and to-be analyses, and provide recommendations to senior leadership. Additionally, you will assist in developing reports, analyzing IT spend, and evaluating existing processes within the organization, and coming up with ideas to bring automation and improvements.
Analyze IT Landscape & Support Consolidation Efforts
  • Participate in a global project to review IT systems, vendors, and procurement processes

  • Assess current IT solutions and identify optimization opportunities

  • Conduct as-is and to-be analyses to support IT consolidation strategies

  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Develop procurement reports related to divisional IT activities, IT spend analysis, and vendor performance

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and SQL to analyze data and identify trends

  • Create dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
  • Work with internal stakeholders across IT and procurement to gather data and insights

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations to summarize findings and recommendations

  • Assist in meetings with senior leadership by presenting key analyses and reports

Process Documentation & Workflow Mapping
  • Use Visio to document workflows, complex process documentation,

  • Identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements based on findings

Ad Hoc Support & Additional IT Procurement Activities
  • Assist with other procurement-related tasks as needed

  • Support internal process improvement initiatives related to IT procurement and vendor management

Other Skills
  • Willingness to learn and is self-motivated to work independently

  • Keen interest in learning new technical tools such as Ariba, Zycus, ServiceNow

Program Requirement(s):
  • Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree throughout the entirety of the internship.

Qualifications

Hourly Range: $17-$38
The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
