Job description


Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for an Operations Finance Manager I position located in Jackson, MS. As the Operations Finance Manager you will support the objectives of the Finance and Accounting department while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing as well as operational responsibilities for the units you are supporting.
Job Responsibilities
  • Review monthly operational financial reports and assist in preparation of any client facing financial reporting, including reconciliation of client invoices and statements, and any supporting documentation.
  • Assist with preparation for annual budget.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports to monitor the performance areas such are labor, direct cost, revenue, expenses, and profit by area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with managers and directors to identify and drive key levers to improve margins.
  • Train and motivate staff in financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with operations support as needed.
  • Work with teams on budget, cost control, and forecasting.
  • Assist in oversight of Accounts Payables and Account Receivables
  • Assist in internal annual audits for sight locations.

Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in service industry combined with a system driven approach to credit control
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or finance
  • Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite ( Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Hands on pro-active approach with ability to work well autonomously.
  • Possess relevant financial experience impacting key P&L and balance sheet lines, the experience to be a business partner to operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative way with business partners, key employees, senior leadership, and client groups.
  • A self-starter to quickly learn through online tools and peers.
  • Presentation Skills, ability to interact at any level of organization.
