This dual focus requires adaptability, prioritization skills, and close collaboration with teams such as product development, sales, and finance. The dynamic nature of startups means you'll frequently shift between planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination, making time management and communication essential for success.

Job description

About Milan Laser Hair Removal

At Milan Laser Hair Removal, we're not just transforming skin—we're transforming confidence. As the nation's largest laser hair removal provider, we're built on a culture of excellence, innovation, and delivering a world-class experience for both our clients and our team.

We're looking for a Training Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and enjoys building better ways of working. This is a highly hands-on role focused on improving processes, documenting business knowledge, and building the tools and resources that support our Training Team. If you enjoy creating resources, streamlining workflows, collaborating across departments, and finding better ways to work, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across the organization.

About the Role

The Training Operations Manager partners closely with the Director of Training to turn strategic priorities into practical resources, scalable processes, and operational improvements. In this highly hands-on role, you'll work with subject matter experts across the organization to understand how teams operate, document business processes, and create practical resources that support consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement.

You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, streamline workflows, and develop documentation, dashboards, and operational resources that make work easier for the Training team and the business as a whole. While you'll create training tools, SOPs, and other supporting materials, this role is best suited for someone who enjoys project management, process improvement, and operations—not someone looking to facilitate training or focus primarily on content design.

Status: Full-time | Salaried
Location: Omaha, NE - Corporate Office | On-Site

What You’ll Do

  • Project Management & Strategic Initiatives

    • Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation, keeping priorities, timelines, and stakeholders aligned
    • Turn strategic initiatives into actionable project plans, manage competing priorities, and remove roadblocks along the way
    • Track progress, communicate updates, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business goals
  • Content Development & Operational Resources

    • Create and maintain job aids, SOPs, process documentation, presentations, and other resources that support our Training team
    • Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to understand business processes and translate them into practical, easy-to-use documentation
    • Continuously improve existing operating resources as our business grows and evolves
  • Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement

    • Build and maintain dashboards, workflows, forms, and reporting that improve visibility and efficiency
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate manual work, and build scalable solutions—including AI-enabled tools where appropriate
    • Use operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements that help the organization work more effectively
  • Department Operations

    • Support the day-to-day operations of the Training department, including vendor coordination, purchasing, scheduling, and department logistics
    • Help maintain operational documentation, department records, and administrative processes
    • Partner with teams across the organization to support enterprise-wide initiatives and ensure projects move forward smoothly.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, project or program management, process improvement, or a related field
  • Experience creating business documentation, SOPs, training materials, job aids, or operational resources
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience building workflows, dashboards, reporting, or automation solutions
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with Smartsheet, preferred
  • Experience with AI tools, workflow automation, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience

What Sets You Apart

  • You naturally look for ways to simplify processes and make work more efficient
  • You build strong relationships and enjoy learning how different teams operate
  • You're organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
  • You take ownership and follow through with a solutions-focused mindset

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Help shape how training is delivered across one of the nation's fastest-growing healthcare companies
  • Partner with teams across the organization on high-impact initiatives
  • Be part of a culture that values innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration
  • Work in a role where your ideas can directly improve the employee experience
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance within 30 days
  • Unlimited PTO - work with your manager and take time as needed
  • 6 Paid holidays
  • $50 cellphone stipend paid out monthly
  • 401k retirement plan with vested 4% employer match after 90 days
  • Career advancement opportunities + Culture/environment
  • Employees and their spouse or legal partner receive free laser hair removal services
