Description
The Director of Branch Operations is responsible for supporting branch success. Ensure clarification, updates, and consist application of various processes and procedures related branch operations. This position works collaboratively with others to ensure efficient operational workflow of estimating, supervisory, project management, and support staff.
Essential Job Functions including, but not limited to:
โ€ข Perform operations evaluations in every branch on a quarterly basis that includes being on-site to evaluate operations performance against company standards and procedures.
โ€ข Provide written requirements for branches to improve operations to comply with company standards.
โ€ข Weekly measure performance against standards to assure compliance.
โ€ข Make further recommendations for organization, efficiencies, process improvement, and cost savings in all areas of operations, including but not limited to personnel management, inventory management and field installation.
โ€ข Create and update efficient work processes to meet financial goals.
โ€ข Develop positive relationships with all levels of management and operational personnel.
โ€ข Work collaboratively with personnel in meeting shared expectations.
โ€ข Guide, coach, counsel, and evaluate branch operations personnel to ensure compliance with established standard operating procedures.
โ€ข Work collaboratively and simultaneously with branch personnel and corporate leadership in further developing processes and procedures.
โ€ข Collaborate with Director of Technology to further build-out the CRM to enhance operation compliance.
โ€ข Participate in weekly executive meetings along with branch compliance audit meetings and company expansion meetings.
โ€ข Collaborate with the regional operations management team and the executive leadership team to achieve company goals.
โ€ข Address customers from inquiries, complaints, to presentations.
โ€ข Develop and maintain a culture and environment of continuous change and improvement by incorporating various Lean strategies throughout the manufacturing organization.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with government regulations.
โ€ข Manage the Estimator and Project Management Trainer to include, but limited to training, performance management, coaching, counseling, onboarding, and offboarding.
โ€ข Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others to collaborate for improved organizational performance.
โ€ข Keep up with developments in area of expertise.
โ€ข Consistently display reliability and dependability.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Expert knowledge in the field of project management
  • Expert in providing process improvement through deploying scrum, waterfall, kanban and agile.
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel.
  • Solid understanding of information analysis, budgeting, and business operations
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, training software, CRM, and other operational systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position manages field training staff; currently comprised of an Estimator and Project Management Trainer position.
Travel Required: 50% to 75% of the time for direct support at operational branches
