Director of Finance & Grants Management

FULL-TIME-HYBRID 2 to 4 days per month in office

About Us

The Care Transformation Collaborative of Rhode Island (CTC-RI) is Rhode Island's statewide primary care transformation organization. We bring together healthcare providers, health plans, state agencies, employers, academic institutions, and community organizations to strengthen primary care, improve healthcare access, advance integrated behavioral health, support workforce development, and drive healthcare transformation across the state.

Position Summary

CTC-RI is seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Grants Management to provide financial leadership for a growing portfolio of healthcare transformation initiatives.

This position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, grants management, compliance oversight, financial reporting, audit preparation, and strategic financial planning. The Director works closely with organizational leadership and external accounting partners to ensure strong financial stewardship and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational budgeting and forecasting
  • Oversee financial management of grants and contracts
  • Support financial compliance and audit readiness
  • Manage financial reporting and performance monitoring
  • Support administration of incentive payment programs
  • Develop and improve financial systems and processes
  • Prepare financial reports for leadership and Board committees
  • Coordinate with external accounting and auditing partners

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Seven years of progressively responsible financial management experience
  • Experience managing grants, contracts, or multiple funding sources
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills

Preferred:

  • Healthcare or nonprofit experience
  • Federal or state grant management experience
  • Certified Public Accountant designation or Master's degree
