Position Title: Associate Director of Marketing & Business Development

Department: Business Development

Reports To: President/ Chief Executive Officer or designee

Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC), a leading nonprofit behavioral healthcare provider, is seeking an Associate Director of Marketing & Business Development to support payer relations, contract management, and revenue growth across managed care, private insurance, and private pay services

HOURS:

8 Hours per Day / 5 Days per Week

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain managed care contracts, including performance analysis and rate optimization
  • Resolve managed care, private insurance, and private pay issues
  • Support accounts receivable related to managed care contracts
  • Increase private insurance and private pay business
  • Build and maintain relationships with health plans, hospitals, medical groups, and self‑insured employers
  • Co‑chair Business Development meetings and present utilization and admissions data
  • Collaborate with community liaisons on marketing and growth strategies
  • Ensure consistency of TTC’s brand and image across outreach materials

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Substance Use and Mental healthcare business development, managed care contracting, or payer relations
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and present data to leadership
  • Knowledge of primary care a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
