They are seeking for a Director of Marketing & Business Development to promote their advanced, world-class technology products and to drive new business development for the product line globally. Marketing experience in the field of materials mixing applications is highly desirable.

They are seeking for a Director of Marketing & Business Development to promote their advanced, world-class technology products and to drive new business development for the product line globally. Marketing experience in the field of materials mixing applications is highly desirable.

This multifunctional position emphasis will focus on developing new, undiscovered market and sales opportunities for the company's flagship industrial mixing technology, as well as expanding business in existing industrial sectors.

NOTE: This is an onsite opportunity located at company HQ in Butte, Montana with some travel in the field attending conferences, events and customer sites. This is not a remote role. Applicants must hold US residency or US citizenship.

Relocation packages are available for qualified candidates.

The Marketing function of this position focuses on communication, primarily with influencers, collection of information helpful for sales and but also for determining customer needs. The focus includes marketing communications, product management and project execution.

The Business Development function requires a strategic approach for finding new venues for sales and business expansion.

The ideal Director will have extensive marketing experience and a comprehensive knowledge of branding. In addition, the candidate will have the ability to produce comprehensively written and well-illustrated marketing collateral and have the competence to effectively interact with clients on a regular basis.

The successful candidate shall be a high-tech-savvy manager with extensive experience in industrial product development, new product introduction, marketing, sales, and one who has an ability to effectively participate in business development.

Objectives

  • Collaborate with management, the marketing team, and sales to uncover insights, develop plans, and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally.
  • Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by developing marketing methods to secure new accounts.
  • Identify and build marketing team strengths, improve upon weaknesses, and train team to close known skill gaps with enthusiasm and an eye on the future.
  • Identify and quantify new market opportunities for existing products and identify new product opportunities in existing and/or new markets.
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of marketing budget, profit/loss projections, ROI reporting, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.
  • Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • The Director shall be responsible for generating leads and developing new opportunities that produce business growth. This work shall have particular emphasis for developing and executing methods to generate additional, profitable revenue.
  • The Director shall nurture relationships with key clients, develop new relationships, and expand the brand's presence. The responsibilities include tracking new trends, making product recommendations that help drive long-term growth.
  • Lead the development of our marketing plans working closely with clients, management, creative and content teams, and distribution partners, to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services.
  • Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies and promotional programs to drive product interest and sales.
  • Hold regular meetings with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to ensure team consistently performs above standard.
  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10 to 20 years of directly applicable experience.
  • Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, managerial, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Proven ability to understand complex equipment applications and clearly market them.
  • The position requires a versatile professional with experience in website search optimization to include SEO, SEM, and AEO tools, as well as pay per click advertising.
