The Role: Entegris is currently seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to join our Operations Leadership team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will lead manufacturing operations across multiple production areas in a 24/7 environment, providing leadership to a team of Production Managers. You will be accountable for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency while advancing operational excellence and building a high-performing organization.. What You'll Do: Champion a Safety First mindset and lead by example across all manufacturing operations Provide strategic leadership and direction to Production Managers and their teams Own end-to-end accountability for safety, quality, and delivery across operations Lead Daily Tier Management (Tier 1-Tier 3) to ensure disciplined execution, rapid escalation, and timely closure of issues Embed strong shop floor execution through standard work, visual management, and consistent leader presence at Gemba Drive daily accountability through structured production meetings, KPI reviews, and action tracking Develop and lead site-level strategic initiatives to improve safety, quality, customer service, and profitability metrics Foster a strong customer focus by partnering cross-functionally to achieve business objectives Implement and sustain KPI management systems that drive continuous improvement Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and all applicable safety standards Lead capacity, resource, and workforce planning to support operational goals Maintain high standards of data accuracy, reporting, and operational visibility Build organizational capability by developing leaders and high-performing teams Establish and sustain a continuous improvement culture grounded in Lean and Six Sigma principles Own the end-to-end NPI-to-HVM transition strategy, partnering with R&D, Engineering, and Quality to support successful product launch, ramp, and sustained manufacturing performance Drive manufacturability, process readiness, and scalability during product transfers to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets Establish and enforce robust NPI-to-HVM transition processes, including risk identification, qualification, and ramp readiness Lead cross-functional execution of technology transfer, process validation, and capacity ramp-up activities Ensure alignment across R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Operations on product specifications, control plans, and performance metrics Partner early with R&D to influence design for manufacturability (DFM) and reduce downstream production risk Monitor and improve yield, cycle time, and cost performance during product ramp and stabilization phases What We Seek: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred 10+ years of experience in high-tech manufacturing, preferably within the semiconductor industry 5+ years of experience leading managers and supervisors in a manufacturing environment Experience working in ISO-regulated manufacturing environments Demonstrated expertise in Lean manufacturing, SPC, or Six Sigma methodologies Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Experience leading plant operations with a strong understanding of cost management Experience with ERP systems, including SAP, is preferred What We Offer: At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
